Barney has just received ” Very Highly Commended” in his class at Crufts 2023. This is essentially 5th place in a class of 44 dogs. It was his (and his handler’s!) first time at Crufts and we are delighted with this result. The class entered was the Working Gundogs – Labrador Retriever Best Dog.
Barney was a very easy dog to train and now a valuable member of our picking up team throughout the shooting season. He has a great hunt drive and fantastic nose for game.
Barney is a very loving dog, obedient and great with children. He is a pleasure to be around.
Barney is a proven stud dog, having thrown regular litters of between 8-10 pups.
Barney has been successful with AI so I can also organise this along with progesterone testing so you will know the best time to mate, this is through a qualified third party.
