We are looking for a pup to do a very special job – unfortunately, the timing isn’t good with lockdown having postponed many planned mates. We live in a Cambridgeshire village and have 3 rescue dogs (Husky, Ridgeback and Springer). Our Springer has done an excellent job of supporting the mental health of my 15 yr old, sleeping with her and spending a lot of time looking after her. My daughter has expressed a desire to raise a puppy (and I didn’t need much persuading to be honest) and we would like to train the pup as an informal support dog for my daughter. Helping in the training will be an important part of my daughter’s recovery. This means that temperament is key – we need a pup who will mature, with training, into a calm and intuitive support dog. Liver and white is a small preference, and a bitch will work better with our current pack dynamics. Undocked is a must. We can provide vet and trainer references and are registered and experienced fosters for a local rescue also. Please let us know if you have or know of a litter that may be suitable. Thank you for reading.
